Daniel B Baker and Nancy Waite

1-Daniel B Baker was born on 2 Dec 1793 in Vermont and died on 13 Apr 1855 in Brownville, Jefferson, New York at age 61, and was buried in Dexter Cemetery, Brownville, Jefferson, New York.  

Daniel married Nancy Waite. Nancy was born on 31 Dec 1801 in New York and died on 25 Dec 1883 in Brownville, Jefferson, New York at age 81, and was buried in Dexter Cemetery, Brownville, Jefferson, New York. They had 11 children: Mary Anne, Lorinda, Daniel B Jr, Emily E, Elvira, Huldah W, Benoni, Rolla, Ellen Mariah, Ossian, and Sarah A.

2-Mary Anne Baker was born on 18 Feb 1819 in Jefferson County, New York and died on 22 May 1883 at age 64.

Mary married U C Kane (probably Ulysses), son of Nicholas Kane. U C was born in 1815 in New York. They had five children: Emma, Elvira, Charles H, Ernest U, and Eugene.

3-Emma Kane was born in 1840.

Emma married James Wright Sloat, son of Henry Sloat and Mary Dixon. James was born on 28 Aug 1834 in Gouverneur, St Lawrence, New York and died 8 Dec 1867 at age 33. They had three children: Jessie, Harry, and Jennie.

3-Elvira Kane was born in 1842 in Brownville, Jefferson, New York and died on 8 Apr 1872 in Anoka, Anoka, Minnesota at age 30.

Elvira married Samuel M Weigel, son of Samuel Weigel and Margaret. Samuel was born on 16 Jun 1832 in Hannover, York, Pennsylvania. They had two children: Ada Elvira and Ernest Eugene.

3-Charles H Kane was born in 1845.

3-Ernest U Kane was born in Jan 1850 in New York.

Ernest married Mary. Mary was born in Jul 1857 in Ohio. They had five children: Mary E, Mabel, Morris, Frank, and Helen.

3-Eugene Kane was born in 1855 in New York.

2-Lorinda Baker was born on 28 Feb 1821 in Jefferson County, New York, New York and died on 15 May 1844 at age 23, and was buried in Dexter Cemetery, Brownville, Jefferson, New York. 

Lorinda married Dennis Bartholomew.

2-Daniel B Baker Jr was born on 28 Mar 1823 in Jefferson County, New York, died of disease in the civil war on 8 May 1864 in Fort Lyon, Virginia at age 41, and was buried in Dexter Cemetery, Brownville, Jefferson, New York.  

Daniel married Lucinda C. Lucinda was born in 1828 in New York. They had two children: William B and Laura N.

3-Laura N Baker was born in 1860.

Laura married H Berringer. H was born in 1852 in New York.

2-Emily E Baker was born on 20 Aug 1824 in Jefferson County, New York and died after 1904 when her sister, Sarah Adams, will was probated.  At that time she was living in Minnesota. She is not noted in the Minnesota Death Index which began in 1905, however, so her actual date and place of death remain unknown at this time.

Emily married unknown Scheily about 1846 in Jefferson County, New York. Scheily died before 1850. They had one daughter : Ellen (Ella)

Ella Scheily was born about 1847 in Jefferson County, New York.

Emily next married a widower, James Herrick. James was born about 1812 in New York and died 23 Jan 1874 in Anoka, Anoka, Minnesota. He and his first wife, Nancy Putnam, had three known children: Phebe who died young, Francis Marion and Charles. Emily and James Herrick had no children.

Emily next married a widower, William A Cronk. William was born 25 Jan 1836 in Pennsylvania and died 13 Mar 1881 in Rockford, Wright, Minnesota. William and his first wife, Caroline Samsel,  had six children: Samuel B, Mary M, William P, Joseph R, Charles H, and Julia A. Emily and William A Cronk had no children.

2-Elvira Baker was born on 20 Aug 1826 in Jefferson County, New York, died in 1895 at age 69, and was buried in Dexter Cemetery, Brownville, Jefferson, New York.

Elvira married George H Kimball. George was born in 1819 in Vermont, died in 1895 at age 76, and was buried in Dexter Cemetery, Brownville, Jefferson, New York. They had four children: George Jr, Mary, Lucy, and Fannie P.

3-George E Kimball was born in 1844, died on 18 Sep 1887 at age 43, and was buried in Dexter Cemetery, Brownville, Jefferson, New York.

George married Frances A. Frances was born in 1848, died in 1894 at age 46, and was buried in Dexter Cemetery, Brownville, Jefferson, New York.

3-Mary Louise Kimball was born on 22 Jan 1846 and died on 26 Sep 1878 in Worthington, Nobles, Minnesota at age 32.

Mary married John Alley on 12 Oct 1868 in Anoka County, Minnesota. They had two daughters, Effie Julia and Maude Elvira

3-Lucy Kimball was born in 1851.

3-Fannie P Kimball was born in 1865 in New York, died in 1928 at age 63, and was buried in Dexter Cemetery, Brownville, Jefferson, New York.  

Fannie married William Knox. William was born in 1849, died in 1937 at age 88, and was buried in Dexter Cemetery, Brownville, Jefferson, New York.

2-Huldah W Baker was born on 3 Feb 1829 in Jefferson County, New York and died on 25 Jan 1867 in Brownsville, Jefferson, New York at age 37.

Huldah married John W. Ayres on 2 Jan 1848 in Brownsville, Jefferson, New York. John was born in 1825. They had two children: Ella E and John B.

3-Ella E Ayres was born in 1851 in Brownsville, Jefferson, New York.

3-John B Ayres was born in 1856 in Brownsville, Jefferson, New York.

2-Benoni Baker was born on 15 May 1831i Jefferson County, New York and died in a civil war battle on 5 May 1865 in Wilderness, Orange, Virginia at age 33.

Benoni married Esther. They had two children: Lorinda and Lucy.

Rolla married Mary. Mary was born in 1844 in New York. They had six children: Anna, Kate, Jennie, Rolla M, Jesse and Harry.

3-Anna Baker was born in Mar 1866 in Jefferson County, New York.

3-Kate Baker was born in Jul 1868 in Jefferson County, New York.

Kate married Frank Miller. Frank was born Feb 1886 in New York.

3-Jennie Baker was born in 1871 in Jefferson County, New York.

3-Rolla M Baker was born in 1875 in Bayfield, Bayfield, Wisconsin and died on 8 Dec 1939 in Lane County, Oregon at age 64.

Rolla married Anna. Anna was born in 1874 in Kansas. They had no children.

3-Harry Baker was born in Mar 1886 in Bayfield, Bayfield, Wisconsin.

Ellen married Silas Maynard Coburn, son of Noah Mason Coburn and Harriet Potter, on 28 Mar 1853 in Dexter, Jefferson, New York. Silas was born on 15 Sep 1832 in Smithfield, Dutchess, New York and was MIA 14 Jul 1864 at the civil war battle in Resaca, Gordon, Georgia at age 31. They had one son: Waterbury Maynard.

3-Waterbury Maynard Coburn was born on 23 Jul 1855 in Stockbridge, Madison, New York, died on 19 Apr 1933 in Salem, Marion, Oregon at age 77, and was buried in Salem Pioneer Cemetery Lot 503.

Waterbury married Susie Elizabeth Quimby, daughter of William Raymond Quimby and Hester Ann Haskell, on 16 Feb 1882 in Nez Perce, Idaho Territory. Susie was born on 20 Jan 1864 in Anoka, Anoka, Minnesota, died on 19 Dec 1934 in Salem, Marion, Oregon at age 70, and was buried in Salem Pioneer Cemetery Lot 503. They had five children: Justus Mason, Hester Ellen, Caroline Abigail, Lena Delle, and Harriet Emily.

Ellen next married L.D. (Lorenzo D) White in 1869 in Minnesota. L.D. was born on 29 Oct 1826 in Tioga County, Pennsylvania, died on 19 Mar 1889 in Salem, Marion, Oregon at age 62, and was buried in Salem Pioneer Cemetery Lot 503.

2-Ossian Baker was born on 1 Mar 1838 Jefferson County, New York and died on 28 Jul 1863 during the civil war at age 25, and was buried in Dexter Cemetery, Brownville, Jefferson, New York.

2-Sarah A Baker was born on 10 Dec 1839 in Jefferson County, New York and died on 18 Apr 1904 in Salem, Marion, Oregon at age 64, and was buried in Salem Pioneer Cemetery.

Sarah married Siebert. They had no children.

Sarah next married a widower, Jessie Babcock, in Jefferson County, New York. Jessie was born in 1807 in New York and died 8 Dec 1885 in Brownville, Jefferson, New York. They had no children.

Sarah next married Sebastian Cabot Adams, son of Sebastian Cabot (Sr) Adams and Eunice Harmon. Sebastian was born on 28 Jul 1825 in Ohio, died on 7 Jan 1898 in Salem, Marion, Oregon at age 72, and was buried in Salem Pioneer Cemetery. They had no children.
