Jared Haskell and Mary Ann Smith
1-Jared Haskell, son of John Haskell and Sarah Parsons, was born on 18 Dec 1809 in Poland, Androscoggin, Maine, died 2 May 1893 in Palouse, Whitman, Washington and is buried in Greenwood Cemetery.Jared married Mary Ann Smith on 29 Apr 1835 in Baskahegan, Washington, Maine. Mary Ann was born 12 Aug 1812 in Brownville, Piscataquis, Maine, died 19 Aug 1890 in Palouse, Whitman, Washington and was buried in Greenwood Cemetery.. They had five biological children: John S, Charles W, Hester Ann, George A, and Herbert M. They also adopted their niece, Salome Rogers, daughter of Jesse Rogers and Mary Ann's sister, Emeline Smith, after Emeline's death on 3 Oct 1842.
2-John S Haskell was born in 1835 in Washington County, Maine. He enlisted in Company C, First Regiment of the Minnesota Volunteers 29 Apr 1861. He was killed 21 July 1861 at the Battle of Bull Run and is buried in the mass grave from that battle in Arlington National Cemetery.
2-Charles W Haskell was born in 1840 in Washington County, Maine. He enlisted in Company C, First Regiment of the Minnesota Volunteers 29 Apr 1861 He was wounded in the Battle Of Glendale, Virginia 8 May 1862 and died on 8 Mar 1863 at the army hospital in Washington, DC from smallpox. He is buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
2-Salome Rogers Haskell was born 11 June 1841 in Brownville and died 30 Dec 1901 in Morrow, Idaho, Idaho. Salome is actually Mary Ann's niece, daughter of Mary Ann's sister, Emeline Smith and Jesse Rogers. She was adopted as a baby by the Haskells after Emeline's death in 1842.
Salome married Albert Henry Heath. Albert was born 10 Mar 1824 in Brownville, Piscataquis, Maine, died 6 Dec 1912 in Orofino, Clearwater, Idaho and was buried in Hill Cemetery. They had five children: Cora E, Mary E, Sylvia V, Pearl, and Myrtle.
3-Cora Etta Heath was born 29 Dec 1860 in Minnesota, died 9 Feb 1893 in Whitman County, Washington and was buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Palouse, Whitman, Washington.
Cora married James Albert McClure (Al), son of James Franklin McClure and Nancy Ann Bruce. James was born in Jun 1855 in Grand Prairie, lane, Oregon and died Mar 1934 in Tieton, Yakima, Washington. James and Cora had two children: Ira Franklin and Bessie. (note: after Cora's death James married her cousin, Abbie Quimby, daughter of William Quimby and Hester Haskell.)

Mary married Joseph E Kauffman, son of Jacob Kauffman and Magdalena Naffziger. Joseph was born 3 May 1864 in Iowa, died 15 Jan 1952 in Clarkston, Asotin, Washington and is buried in Normal Hill Cemetery. Mary and Joseph had three children: Christine, Gladys and Alton T.
3-Sylvia Bell Heath was born 8 Mar 1871 in Minnesota, died 12 Jun 1953 in Shelton, Mason, Washington and was buried in Shelton Memorial Park.
Sylvia married Nelson Clayton Bicknell, son of David Bicknell and Lavina Jane Lapum, on 15 Jul 1888 in Cedar Creek, Bonner, Idaho. Nelson was born in Dec 1863 in Canada, died 1 Mar 1948 in Shelton, Mason, Washington and is buried in Shelton Memorial Park. Sylvia and Nelson had four daughters: Eva Salome, Auda Zelva, Mary Etta and Beulah Leola.
3-Pearl Josephine Heath was born 27 May 1879 in Palouse, Whitman, Washington, died 12 Jul 1976 in Lewiston, Nez Perce, Idaho and is buried in Normal Hill Cemetery.
Pearl first married Jacob D Kauffman, son of Jacob Kauffman and Magdalena Naffziger. Jacob was born 19 Dec 1871 in Malvern, Osage, Kansas, died 29 Jul 1906 in Lewiston, Nez Perce, Idaho and is buried in Normal Hill Cemetery. Pearl and Jacob had three children: Willard Albert, Roland Samuel, and Zelma Mattie.
After Jacob's death, Pearl married Raymond Ellis Heath. Raymond was born 16 Nov 1877 in Otsego, Wright, Minnesota and died 12 Nov 1921 in Snohomish Snohomish, Washington. Pearl and Raymond had one daughter, Bernice Ione, who was born 6 Sept 1908 and died 7 Sept 1909.
After Jacob's death, Pearl married Guyon Duane Spinger. Guyon was born 13 Aug 1882 in Washington and died 24 Mar 1965 in Orofino, Clearwater, Idaho.
3-Myrtle Heath was born 28 Aug 1881 in Palouse, Whitman, Washington and died 22 Feb 1957 in Clackamas County, Oregon.
Myrtle married Walter Seldon Leachman son of Samuel Seldon Leachman and Alice C Coleman 31 Aug 1902 in Nez Perce County, Idaho. Walter was born 13 Feb 1878 in Adams County, Illinois and died 14 Aug 1956 in Clackamas County, Oregon. Myrtle and Walter had six children: a son who died at birth, Eugene Seldon, Clyde Albert, Jesse Auday, Charles Vernon and Robert Willard.
2-Hester Ann Haskell was born on 17 Dec 1842 in Aroostook County, Maine, died 8 Jul 1927 in Salem, Marion, Oregon at age 84 and was buried in the Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery Snohomish, Washington.
Hester married William Raymond Quimby, son of Stephen Hart Quimby and Abigail Welts. William was born in Feb 1826 in Rangeley, Franklin, Maine, died 27 Feb 1912 in Snohomish, Snohomish, Washington at age 86 and is buried in the Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery . They had six children: Susie Elizabeth, John William, Mary Abigail, Charles Jared, Stephen Raymond, and Edna.
3-Susie Elizabeth Quimby was born on 20 Jan 1864 in Anoka, Anoka, Minnesota, died on 19 Dec 1934 in Salem, Marion, Oregon at age 70, and was buried in Salem Pioneer Cemetery Lot 503.
Susie married Waterbury Maynard Coburn, son of Silas Maynard Coburn and Ellen Mariah Baker, on 16 Feb 1882 in Nez Perce, Idaho Territory. Waterbury was born on 23 Jul 1855 in Stockbridge, Madison, New York, died on 19 Apr 1933 in Salem, Marion, Oregon at age 77, and was buried in Salem Pioneer Cemetery Lot 503. They had five children: Justus Mason, Hester Ellen, Caroline Abigail, Lena Delle, and Harriet Emily.

Mary was born on 22 Apr 1866 in Independence, Jackson, Missouri and died on 25 May 1942 in Stockton, San Joaquin, California at age 76. They had five children: Ethel Tryphena, Hattie Clemence, Pansy Mae, John Russell, and Ody.
3-Mary Abigail (Abbie) Quimby was born in Mar 1868 in Anoka, Anoka, Minnesota and died 9 Nov 1932 in Tieton, Yakima, Washington.

(note: James first wife, Cora Etta Heath was Abbie's cousin, the daughter of Albert Henry Heath and Salome Rogers Haskell Heath). Abbie and James had one daughter: Wilma.

3-Stephen Raymond Quimby was born on 27 May 1886 in Palouse, Whitman, Washington and died on 3 Mar 1971 in Flathead County, Montana at age 84. He was divorced and had no children.
3-Edna Quimby died as an infant.
