1-Conrad Merrian Seyller, son of Lovina Dorothea Wolf and Edward John Seyller, was born on 8 Feb 1901 in Yorktown, Henry, Illinois, died in Feb 1963 at age 62 in Moline, Rock Island, Illinois, and was buried in Hooppole Cemetery. 

Conrad married Coral Mildred (Cora) Groves, daughter of Charles Wesley Groves and Mary Jane Vandeventer, on 25 Feb 1925 in Geneseo, Henry, Illinois. Coral was born on 27 Sep 1904 in Hooppole, Henry, Illinois, died on 23 Apr 1962 in Columbia, Boone, Missouri at age 57, and was buried in Hooppole Cemetery. They had three children: Richard C, Constance Wilma, and Frank Edward.

2-Richard C Seyller was born on 15 Jun 1926 in Hooppole, Henry, Illinois, died on 30 Dec 2012 in Hooppole, Henry, Illinois at age 86 and was buried in Hooppole Cemetery. 

Richard married Lois Patricia Mullen, daughter of Lester Leroy Mullen and Andra Leona Cullum,. Lois was born on 8 Jul 1926 in Des Moines, Polk, Iowa, died on 27 Aug 1995 in Geneseo, Henry, Illinois at age 69 and was buried in Hooppole Cemetery.  They had four children: Ann Christine, Peggy Lynn, Jack Richard, and David Frank.

2-Constance M Seyller was born in 1927 in Henry County Illinois.

Constance married Dan Eugene Riley, son of Homer Adam Riley and Bertha Stairs, on 6 Jun 1948 in Henry County, Illinois. Dan was born on 1 Apr 1926 in Green Castle, Sullivan, Missouri and died on 22 Oct 1998 in Silvis, Rock Island, Illinois at age 72. They had two children: Gloria and Dwayne.

2-Frank Edward Seyller was born on 3 Dec 1931 in Yorktown, Henry, Illinois, died on 12 Jan 2004 in Columbia, Boone, Missouri at age 72 and was buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. 

Frank married Shirley Chipley, daughter of Willard John Chipley and Nora Ella Jackson, on 27 Jun 1975 in New Franklin, Howard, Missouri. Shirley was born on 20 Sep 1930 in Howard County, Missouri, died on 11 Aug 2009 in Columbia, Boone, Missouri at age 78 and was buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

Biography

Conrad Merrian Seyller was born on 8 February 1901 in Yorktown, Henry, Illinois to Edward John Seyller and Lovina Dorothea Wolf Seyller. He was the oldest of his parent's two sons. His younger brother, Conrad, was born on 7 May 1903 . He was raised on his parents farm outside of Hooppole. He attended Stowell School. Conrad married Coral Mildred (Cora) Groves, daughter of Charles Wesley Groves and Mary Jane Vandeventer, on 25 Feb 1925 in Geneseo. They had three children: Richard born in 1926, Constance born in 1927 and Frank born in 1931. Conrad and Mildred farmed in Yorktown Township until 1959 when they moved to Auxvasse, Missouri to be near their son. Mildred died on 23 Apr 1962 in Columbia, Boone, Missouri and Conrad died a year later in February of 1963 in the hospital in Moline, Rock Island, Illinois. Both Conrad and Mildred are buried in the Hooppole Cemetery.

Richard C. Seyller, 86, of Hooppole, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at Aspen Rehab and Health Care in Silvis. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at Calvary Evangelical Congregational Church in Hooppole. The Rev. David Bailey will officiate. Burial will follow in Hooppole Cemetery where military honors will be accorded by the Hooppole American Legion Post. A visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4 at the Atkinson Chapel of Vandemore Funeral Homes and Cremation Services Ltd. Memorials may be left to the Calvary Evangelical Congregational Church or to Alzheimer's Disease Research.
He was born on June 15, 1926, in Hooppole, the son of Conrad and Mildred (Groves) Seyller. He was a graduate of Annawan High School. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during World War II and was awarded the Bronze Star. He married Patricia Mullen on Aug. 21, 1954, in Hooppole. She died in 1995. He was a lifetime farmer in rural Hooppole and Prophetstown areas.
He was a member of Calvary Evangelical Congregational Church in Hooppole and was church treasurer for 35 years. He was a charter and lifetime member of the Hooppole American Legion Post where he played Taps for funerals and events for the American Legion. He enjoyed bowling and watching college basketball games.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and Jean Seyller of Moline and David and Brenda Seyller of East Moline; two daughters and a son-in-law, Ann Seyller of Moline and Peggy and Alan Larson of Plano, Texas; six grandchildren, Tracy (Aaron) Klugger; Jessica, Christian and Trevor Seyller; and David and Rebecca Larson and one sister, Connie Riley of Avada, Colo. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one brother, Frank Seyller.

Lois Patricia Seyller, 69, of 28963 N. 2400th Ave., Prophetstown, died Sunday, Aug. 27, 1995, at Hammond Henry Hospital, Geneseo. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary Evangelical Christian Church, Hooppole, where she was an active member. Burial is in Hooppole Cemetery. Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Gardner Funeral Home, Prophetstown. Memorials may be made to the church.
The former Lois Patricia Mullen was born July 8, 1926, in Des Moines, the daughter of Lester and Audra Cullum Mullen. She married Richard C. Seyller Aug. 21, 1954, in Moline. Mrs.. Seyller graduated from Moline Public Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed at the former Moline Public Hospital and by Dr. J.K. Hanson. She also worked as a teacher's aide for seven years at the Hooppole Grade School. She was active in community service. She enjoyed reading, quilting, swimming and cooking.
Survivors include the widower; daughters and a son-in-law, Ann Seyller, Moline, and Peggy and Alan Larson, Plano, Texas; sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and Jean Seyller, Moline, and David and Brenda Seyller, East Moline; five grandchildren; sisters, JoAnn Nelsen and Shirley Warren, both of Moline; and brothers, John Mullen, Bettendorf, and Ted Mullen, Desert Hot Springs, Calif.

Shirley Seyller, 78, of Columbia passed away Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at Nilson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. Seyller was born Sept. 20, 1930, in Estill to John Willard and Nora Jackson Chipley. She married Frank Seyller on June 27, 1975, in New Franklin. He preceded her in death on Jan. 12, 2004.Survivors include her sons, Edward Seyller of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Terry Ross of Elma, Wash.; daughters Susan Quickle of Fort Worth, Texas, and LaWyeth Wells of Columbia; brothers Jack Chipley of New Franklin and Willard Chipley of Boonville; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

COLUMBIA Shirley C. Seyller of Columbia was a pleasant person who was particularly good with her grandchildren. She was the older sister and protector, her brother Jack Chipley said. She kind of helped raise me. Mrs. Seyller died on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009. She was 78.She was born Sept. 20, 1930, in Estill to John Willard and Nora Jackson Chipley. She married Frank Seyller on June 27, 1975, in New Franklin and lived most of her life in Columbia. She is survived by two sons, Edward Seyller of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Terry Toss of Elma, Wash.; two daughters, Susan Quickle of Fort Worth, Texas, and LaWyeth Wells of Columbia; two brothers, Jack Chipley of New Franklin and Willard Chipley of Boonville; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Her husband died earlier. Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Nilson Funeral Home, 5611 St. Charles Road. Services will follow at 11:30 a.m
