Up to a short time ago, he had continued active and always took an interest in home life. Four years ago he suffered an injury which necessitated an amputation of one limb, but nevertheless, was laying plans on what work he intended to take up in his garden this season. Heart failure was attributed as cause of death. Funeral services were held at the home Saturday afternoon, followed by services at the M.E. Church. Rev. D.C. Holst officiated. Burial was in Pine Ridge cemetery. Chandler Heath was born in Canada on June 26, 1856. He married Mary Burdick at Joliet, Ill., on Sept. 7, 1878.
