Silas Maynard Coburn and Ellen Mariah Baker
1-Silas Maynard Coburn, son of Noah Mason Coburn and Harriet Potter, was born on 15 Sep 1832 in Smithfield, New York. He was a teamster for the Union Army during the Civil War and went missing July 14, 1864 shortly after a battle at Resaca, Georgia. He was last seen wounded, propped up against a tree. It was never determined whether he died from wounds suffered in the battle or if he deserted and started a new life.Silas married Ellen Mariah Baker, daughter of Daniel B Baker and Nancy Waite, on 28 Mar 1853 in Dexter, Jefferson, New York. Ellen was born on 22 Feb 1836 in Brownsville, Jefferson, New York, died on 29 Nov 1917 in Salem, Marion, Oregon and was buried in Salem Pioneer Cemetery Lot 503.

Waterbury married Susie Elizabeth Quimby, daughter of William Raymond Quimby and Hester Ann Haskell, on 16 Feb 1882 in Nez Perce, Idaho Territory. Susie was born on 20 Jan 1864 in Anoka, Anoka, Minnesota, died on 19 Dec 1934 in Salem, Marion, Oregon at age 70, and was buried in Salem Pioneer Cemetery Lot 503. They had five children: Justus Mason, Hester Ellen, Caroline Abigail, Lena Delle, and Harriet Emily.

After Silas had been missing five years, Ellen next married Lorenzo D (L.D.) White in 1869 in Anoka, Anoka, Minnesota. Lorenzo was born on 29 Oct 1826 in Tioga County, Pennsylvania, died on 19 Mar 1889 in Salem, Marion, Oregon at age 62, and was buried in Salem Pioneer Cemetery Lot 503.
