Ruby married Bona Stockton, son of John Joseph Stockton and Nancy Emeline Rhodes, on 3 Feb 1932 in Henry County, Illinois. Bona was born on 1 Nov 1900 in Bland, Gasconade, Missouri, died on 9 Aug 1966 in Whiteside County, Illinois at age 65, and was buried in Hooppole Cemetery. They had two children: Leslie Eugene and Robert Ryan.

2-Leslie Eugene Stockton was born on 5 Jun 1932 in Bland, Gasconade, Missouri, died on 1 Mar 1991 in Hooppole, Henry, Illinois at age 58, and was buried in Hooppole Cemetery. 

Leslie married Ruth Elaine Salzman, daughter of Leslie Salzman and Mabel Meyers, on 20 Apr 1951 in Hooppole, Henry, Illinois. Ruth was born on 13 Jan 1933 in Morrison, Whiteside, Illinois, died on 29 Jul 1975 in Iowa City, Johnson, Iowa at age 42 and was buried in Hooppole Cemetery.  They had three children: Eugene Leslie, Alan Bona, and Marla Louise.

3-Eugene Leslie Stockton was born in 1953. 

3-Alan Bona Stockton was born in 1955. 

3-Marla Louise Stockton was born in 1956. 

2-Robert Rolland Stockton was born on 22 Feb 1935 in Hooppole, Henry, Missouri, died on 27 Jun 1991 in Rochelle, Ogle, Illinois at age 56 and was buried in Hooppole Cemetery. 

Robert married Carol Hartweg, daughter of Lewis R Hartweg and Dorothy, on 11 May 1957. Carol was born on 23 Feb 1938. They had four children: Gregory Lynn, Ryan Robert, Jill Renee, and Bradley Michael.

3-Gregory Lynn Stockton was born in1957. 

3-Ryan Robert Stockton was born in 1959. 

3-Jill Renee Stockton was born in 1963.

Biography

Ruby Irene Wolf was born on her parent's farm near Hooppole on 15 Nov 1901. She was their oldest child and in 1903 she was joined by her sister Viola. Ruby married Bona Stockton, son of John Joseph Stockton and Nancy Emeline Rhodes, on 3 Feb 1932. Bona and his twin brother Bola were born on 1 November 1900 in Bland, Gasconade, Missouri. Most of Bona's family remained in Missouri but Bona moved to the Henry County in 1933 after his marriage to Ruby and the birth of their first child, Leslie, in 1932. Their second son, Robert, was born in 1935 in Hooppole. Ruby and Bona moved into the main house on her parent's farm near Hooppole and continued to farm there for many years. Ruby died on 1 February 1962 and was buried in Hooppole Cemetery. After her death Bona married a widow, Blanche Eva Wolf Harper, on 1 June 1963 in Geneseo, Henry, Illinois. Bona died in 1966 and was buried in Hooppole Cemetery.

Ruby and Bona's oldest son, Leslie, was born in Missouri in 1932 and moved to the Hooppole area in 1933. He married Ruth Salzman in 1951 and they had three children. Leslie farmed in the Hooppole area all his life except when he served in the Korean war. After Ruth's death in 1975 at age 42, Leslie married Ruth Causemaker in September of 1976. Leslie died on 1 Mar 1991 in Hooppole at age 58, and was buried in Hooppole Cemetery.

Ruby and Bona's second son, Robert, was born near Hooppole in 1935. He married Carol Hartweg, daughter of Lewis R and Dorothy Hartweg, on 11 May 1957. They had four children and lived in the Rochelle, Illinois area for many years. Robert owned and operated Bob's Milling and later Bob's Milk Hauling in the Lena for 23 years. Robert died on 27 Jun 1991 in Rochelle at age 59 and was buried in Hooppole Cemetery.
