Benjamin married Cora Anna Rapp, daughter of Jacob Rapp and Elizabeth Krimbill, on 31 Oct 1895 in Hooppole, Henry, Illinois. Cora was born on 5 Sep 1876 in Hooppole, Henry, Illinois, died on 22 Jul 1955 in Hooppole, Henry, Illinois at age 78 and was buried in Hooppole Cemetery. They had two children: Ruby Irene and Viola E.

2-Ruby Irene Wolf was born on 15 Nov 1901 in Henry County, Illinois, died on 1 Feb 1962 in Henry County, Illinois at age 60, and was buried in Hooppole Cemetery. 

Ruby married Bona Stockton, son of John Joseph Stockton and Nancy Emeline Rhodes, on 3 Feb 1932 in Henry County, Illinois. Bona was born on 1 Nov 1900 in Bland, Gasconade, Missouri, died on 9 Aug 1966 in Whiteside County, Illinois at age 65, and was buried in Hooppole Cemetery. They had two children: Leslie Eugene and Robert Ryan.

2-Viola Elizabeth Wolf was born on 13 Nov 1903 in Yorktown, Henry, Illinois and died in Oct 1994 in Morton Grove, Cook, Illinois at age 90. 

Viola married Ralph Gudim, son of Martin John Gudim and Mamie Florence May, on 26 Nov 1930. Ralph was born on 7 Jul 1903 in Malmo, Aitkin, Minnesota and died in Aug 1984 in Morton Grove, Cook, Illinois at age 81. They had one daughter: Viletta Leigh (Vicki).

Biography

Benjamin Wolf was born 19 December 1872 on his parent's farm in Yorktown Township in Henry County, Illinois. The closest town was Hooppole. Benjamin's mother, Dorothea Grabenhorst Fisher Wolf, and his father, Barnhardt Wolf, had both been previously married and Benjamin was the first of the children born to them after their marriage. His mother and her first husband, Jacob Fischer, had six children: Henry was born in 1856, Caroline Dorothea was born in 1858, Jennie Johanna was born in 1860, Frederick Jacob was born in 1863, Ferdinand Maximillian (Max) was born in 1865 and Loretta was born in 1868. In 1868 Jacob died and left Dorothea a widow. In 1871, Dorothea married Benjamin's father, Barnhardt Wolf, a widower with seven children, three daughters of whom were still loving at home, and moved with him from Iowa to his farm in Yorktown Township. Dorothea was Barnhardt's third wife. His first wife, Mary Ann Luther, died in 1864 at age 32. They were married in 1849 and had  six children: Louisa born in 1848, Caroline born in 1850, John born in 1851, William born in 1855, Elizabeth, born in 1859 and Mary Matilda (Tillie) born in 1862. In 1867 he married his second wife, Celia Balcom Heitz who also died. They had one daughter, Linda, born in 1867.  Dorothea and Barnhardt had three children together: Benjamin born in 1872, Lovina born in 1874, and Margaret (Maggie) born in 1877. In all Benjamin had fifteen full and half siblings.

On 31 October 1895 Benjamin married Cora Anna Rapp, daughter of Jacob Rapp and Elizabeth Krimbill, in her parents home near Hooppole. They took up housekeeping on a farm south of Hooppole later known as the Kedron community. In 1896 after his father Barnhardt's death they moved to Benjamin's parents farm. Benjamin built his mother a small house across the road and he and Cora lived in the main house until 1933 when they turned it over to their daughter Ruby and her husband, Bona Stockton.. Their two daughters were born during this time: Ruby in 1901 and Viola in 1903.

Benjamin and Cora lived and farmed in the Hooppole area their whole lives. Benjamin died on 15 Sep 1948 and Cora died on 22 Jul 1955. They are buried in the Hooppole Cemetery.
