1-William Llewdeth Thomas, son of William Thomas and Ann Edmonds, was born on 25 Mar 1835 in Llangynwyd, Glamorgan, Wales and died on 10 May 1884 in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia at age 49 from softening of the brain. He is buried in Wallsend Cemetery in Newcastle.

William married Martha Jane Bennett, daughter of Matthew Bennett and Margaret Williams, on 16 Jun 1861 in Aberdare, Wales. Martha was born in 1841 in Aberdare, Wales and died on 25 Jul 1919 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia at age 78 from a cerebral hemorrhage. She is buried in Gore Hill Cemetery: St Leonards in Sydney.  They had ten children: A daughter who was born and died in Wales, and Margaret, William, Ann, Catherine (Cassie), Jane (Jennie), William Bennett, Susannah C (Aunt Nancy), Lily Ann, and Violet Dedwydd who were all born in New South Wales, Australia.

2-Margaret Thomas was born on 5 Apr 1864 in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia, died on 8 Mar 1920 in North Sydney New South Wales, Australia at age 55  from tuberculosis, and was buried in Gore Hill Cemetery: St Leonard's. Margaret had a relationship when she was 24 which resulted in a son: William Claude Kingsley.  Margaret married Charles Henry Hatch, son of Thomas Hatch and Matilda Green, on 14 Apr 1890 in Glen Innes, New South Wales, Australia. Charles was born on 13 Apr 1852 in London, England and died on 17 Jan 1908 in Dubbo, New South Wales, Australia. Margaret and Charles Henry had six children: Isabel, Edwin Boyd, Walter Leslie, Infant Boy, and Arthur.

2-William Thomas was born on 23 Oct 1865 in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia and died on 15 Apr 1868 in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia at age 3 from infantile rheumatic fever. He is buried in Wallsend Cemetery in Newcastle.

2-Ann (Nancy) Thomas was born on 11 Jan 1868 in New South Wales, Australia and died on 22 May 1925 in the Waterfall Sanitarium in Waterfall, New South Wales, Australia at age 57 from tuberculosis. She is buried in the shamefully neglected and overgrown Garrawarra Cemetery on the grounds of Waterfall Sanitarium.  Ann married Paul Burrell Ivey, son of Thomas Ivey and Marey Burrell, in 1906 in New South Wales, Australia. Paul was born on 26 Dec 1845 in Cornwall, England and died on 25 Mar 1909 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia at age 63. They did not have children.

2-Catherine (Cassie) Thomas was born on 10 Oct 1869 in Lambton, New South Wales, Australia and died on 14 Sept 1934 in Marrackville, New South Wales, Australia at age 64 from colon cancer. She is buried in the Field of Mars Cemetery in East Ryde. Catherine married William Roderick McLean, son of Abraham McLean and Harriet Clarinda Coomber, on 15 Jun 1891 in New South Wales, Australia. William was born on 31 Dec 1858 in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia and died on 16 Jan 1927 in Normanhurst, New South Wales, Australia at age 68 from tuberculosis. He is also buried in the Field of Mars Cemetery. They had eight children: Roderick Boyd, Gladys Heatherbell, Malcolm William, Ernest Reginald, James Duncan, Hector Alexander, Charles Stewart, and John Harold.

2-Jane (Jennie) Thomas was born on 4 Jan 1873 in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia and died on 4 Sep 1907 in Waverly, New South Wales at age 34 from tuberculosis. She is buried in the Waverley Cemetery in Bronte in the eastern part of Sydney. She did not marry or have children.

2-William Bennett Thomas was born on 19 Dec 1875 in Lambton, New South Wales, Australia and died on 6 Oct 1912 in Kurri Kurri, New South Wales, Australia at age 36 in a mining accident. He is buried in the Kurri Kurri Cemetery. William married his sister Margaret's step-daughter, Matilda F Hatch, daughter of Charles Henry Hatch and Mary Ann Willmott in 1905 in Ashfield, New South Wales, Australia. Matilda was born on 15 Dec 1887 in Glen Innes, New South Wales, Australia. They had three children: Mavis M, Frederick William, and Ethel Jane.

2-Susannah (Rose) Thomas was born on 27 Dec 1877 in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia and died on 30 Sept 1908 at age 27 from tuberculosis. She is buried in the Rookwood Cemetery in the Auburn suburb of Sydney. Her death certificate has her last name as Thomas or Bowman and it lists a marriage for her at age 26 to a John Bowman but no record of that marriage has been found. She had no children.

2-Lily Ann Thomas was born on 12 Feb 1881 in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia and died on 5 Sep1968 in Wellington, New Zealand. She is buried in the Porirua Cemetery in Wellington. Lily had a relationship which resulted in the birth of a daughter: Violet.

2-Violet Dedwydd Thomas was born on 14 Jan 1884 in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia and died on 26 Dec 1909 in Paddington, New South Wales, Australia at age 25 from a septic infection following an abortion. She is buried in the Rookwood Cemetery in the Auburn suburb of Sydney. Violet had a relationship and gave birth to a son: Ronald. Ronald took the last name of Jones after Violet married Thomas Leslie Jones, son of David Jones and Jane Hamer, on 21 Jul 1905 in St Leonards, New South Wales. Thomas was born in 1879 in Richmond, Victoria and committed suicide on 20 Nov 1907 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia at age 28 . Thomas and Violet had one son: Ralph Leslie.
