The newest member of the family is scheduled to join sister Ellery around the end of May. Her name will be Sydney Maxwell Smith.

Colin gets a new car to replace his totaled Nissan Pathfinder



He buys a 2006 Toyota Corolla Sport equipped with all the bells and whistles -and great gas mileage too!

Colin is hit by a drunk driver

A drunk driver with a large Dodge pickup tried to dial his cell phone, lost control of the truck, careened off Barber Blvd in Portland, up an embankment and then spun back across three lanes of traffic and hit Colin head on. Colin was taken to OHSU with multiple fractures of his tibia and fibula. A rod was inserted into his tibia. Although he is suffering a lot of pain we are all thankful his injuries were not more serious. He is recuperating in Salem.

Carsen Brice Heath was born on Saturday August 26th 2006 at 3:39 pm in Oregon City. He weighs 9 lbs and is 21.5 inches long.

Carsen is the son of Brian and Cathy Heath.
Brian is the son of Curt and Barbara Heath.

Heath is here!

Welcome to Heath Smith Toomey who arrived today at 6:18 PM
Heath is a handsome healthy baby who is 19.5 inches long and weighs 7 lbs.
His proud parents are Jeremy Toomey and Devon Smith Toomey.

This month we finally get RV Muru on the road again.
Our first trip will be to Reno/Sparks to visit Devon and Jeremy.

George buys himself a new GMC diesel quad cab Sierra 3500 pickup (grey).
Alisha buys herself a 1996 Mercedes Benz C230.She got it used after a friend of the previous owner told him it looked like a Toyota Camry so he traded it back in!

It's going to be a boy!

Devon and Jeremy's baby is going to be a boy. They are calling him Heath Smith Toomey. We can hardly wait till June 10 to welcome him to the world.

Humorous side note:
 Dennis was telling our neighbors about Heath and in his excitement he said his name was going to be heathsmith.com! Needless to say the neighbors were a little surprised.

Alan Libin comes to Oregon to visit for two weeks. He will be staying with his friend Dave in White Salmon during the week and with Colin on the weekends. He plans a visit to Salem to see Dennis and Stephany and try out La Margarita! 

January 16, 2005

Trey and Jackie Anderson are off on a three month trip around the US. They will be heading for Slidell, LA to work for 2 weeks at a Habitat for Humanity site. Slidell was dead center of hurricane Katrina. Then they head for Florida and eventually turn around and come home.
